Fishidy: Fishing Maps App App Reviews

Works great for me, I use it for freshwater lake map study and gives you a great understanding of contour lines, and its free!

App does not let me view catches posted by other members

I purchased this app for the gps overlay and found once purchased that the overlay is an upgraded feature that requires a subscription on top of the purchase price of the app!

Without an expensive subscription the app is useless. There is mo free trial of the subscription, with good reason: the app is STILL useless after spending $50.

I dont see the point to be honest. This is because I am the only one in my area using it. Without the ability to share to social media I dont see this app growing. Its a total PIA to add ponds/lakes/reservoirs that arent major wildly known lakes. Once you add them its again a total PIA to find them to add new catches... Its a great idea but needs major work!

Does not display Vegetation & Structures. Shows what the lake map in my motel room shows. Biggest waste of my $10 ever. And that includes "The English Patient"

They make you sign in to unsubscribe to the countless e mails they will send you!!! Dont do it .....they never stop!!!!!

Tried to cancel and they have a way to use your credit card with no authorization. My Amazon account shows no authorization. They will not contact you.

The detailed mapping is very helpful when my go to spots are not working or Im on a new body of water. I also like to log my catches quickly and then use the website later to fill in all the details. Love the new social features as well. Good help section and customer support.

Im not sure what these other reviewers are talking about. This is an awesome fishing app! Ive used it from PA to VA and its always been great. Youre given multiple ways to unsubscribe from emails, from both within the app and on the website. The map that the one reviewer was using was probably a Fishing Hotspots map, which is the data in Fishidy.

I found this app to be very helpful, especially for new fishermen. A friend and I went fishing for the first time on a new lake and we used fishidy to help us find good spots to fish and to help me catch my first fish! We also found the information about location of weeds and rocks very useful for navigating an unfamiliar lake. Would definitely recommend!

Its about time someone built this app! I am not a great angler but I love the sport - and Im too cheap to hire a guide to show me the hot spots. Fishidy saved my butt on my latest trip to south Florida. $10 for the premium info or $1,200 guide? Its a no brainier....

Great app. Easy to navigate and loaded with helpful information. The app is also a great way to connect with other anglers in your area and get feedback on the best fishing spots.

Fishidy is great for new lakes as well as keeping a log for my personal use. I dig being able to brag to my friends and fellow anglers and the premium upgrade is great on new water ways. Spent a couple days on Chautauqua in western New York with no knowledge of the lake and found success within the first 30 minutes using fishidy... Dont believe me? Check my catches on Chautauqua!

With an array of features, Fishidy allows you to get info on your favorite waterway or species. There is an ability to mark a spot or catch, share info on the vegetation, conditions, etc. and you can keep the info private if you choose. I have tried other apps but love what this one offers. Its got excellent customer service and a high quality platform for all your fishing needs.

I love the Fishidy app. Its invaluable when Im on a new body of water to locate key areas to fish and allows me to narrow down spots to try in a limited amount of time. Plus I can log catches privately to keep track of catches, conditions, location to check later. Plus I can post an brag about catches when I feel like it. I enjoy seeing everyones catches from all over. Lots of useful information that helps narrow down when and where to fish. Great for connecting with other anglers.

The premium data offerings in my region are not as great as some others, but the helpful and friendly community of users always comes through for me. Not sure about some of the complaints about emails... You can manage that right in the app. Overall, it is a solid app backed up by a great community of users.

Very low quality. The activity stream is very glitchy and dumb. It takes off certain post I have and doubles others. If this glitch was worked out by the makers it would be much better. And I would probably keep and recommend it but I will probably delete it in a couple of days due to its lack of quality.
