Fishidy: Fishing Maps App App Reviews

Great app for enhancing your fishing experience through low impact technology. I use Fishidy every time Im on the water for navigation as well as cataloging successful locations, conditions and presentations. Its even useful on lesser known waters that dont have contour maps because you can plot "catches" and "spots" on satellite image maps. (This might be my favorite feature.) I also use the fishing hot spots points of interest for help on unfamiliar waters or to take a shot at a new structure on my local lakes. It is important to make sure your gps is working properly on your phone or tablet to get the most out of Fishidy. Overall very good piece of tackle!

Poor info and no easy way to get out! They keep charging you!

Offers in app purchases. Dont upgrade. It runs on a social platform but doesnt have enough users to make it work. They shouldnt be charging 10$ a month for it.

Search will not find a lake I fish a lot even though I can see it on map within app. Also, should be able to set spots without having to search for lake.

Its a great idea but paying for a subscription is absurd. Its pay 10 bucks for this but no way on Gods green earth is it worth any kind of subscription fee.

I live on the Mississippi gulf coast and the app cannot find a waterway near me..... App is garbage deleting immediately!

Finally found a mobile fishing app that will maximize my time on the water! Great way to cross science and fun with fellow anglers.

I don’t fish often, but when I do, I use Fishidy! It helps maximize the little time I get to spend on the water.

incredibly detailed and easy to use! I do not spend that much time fishing but this tool puts me into a much more sophisticated calibur of fisherman! Thanks Fishidy

Im so happy Ive found this app. I love the hotspots and the maps in general. I enjoy fishing in new places, and these Fishidy tools make it possible for me to do less searching and more catching! A big time saver but more importantly, it just makes my fishing day more fun. Thanks for the help!!

I use this app on my boat as well as ice fishing, great for when u dont have gps on the boat and perfect when walking out n drillin holes!!

Love Fishidy, love the ability to enter details, depth, and Pics. As an experienced fisherman, Id love to see one of the options on, my catch, to be about the tide. The Ca Delta is all about tide. I would also like to be able to enter catches and hot spots right where I am on a map. Instead of going through all the steps to get back to the map. Also, just the GPS view of the map when entering catches and spots would be better as the standard view isnt always accurate. Best fishing app out there. Excited to see a Couple of my suggestions put to work. Bassaddict

This app is a great logging tool to mark personal fishing spots, bait or lures used and other data. I found the interface a little clunky in setting up markers which brings you to another map where you search again for the lake you were just viewing. Other apps Ive used like this have been able to drop markers in real time in the current screen interface. As with in app purchase models, this app was essentially a personal logging tool unless you buy the monthly subscription or recruit all your friends to download the app, sign into the community and enter and then share all their info with you. Even with the discount of purchasing a years subscription to the apps features of fishing reports and info for different lakes, the price is still cost prohibitive for me. Its not cheap for considering the lake info and fishing reports found online. Could the developers tease free users with a little more quality content to incentivize a subscription?

Looks and sounds good but it is total junk! Like google earth, and you pay to have the hot spots

I love how this app allows you to keep track of all of your catches in their exact location & how you can log every single detail about the fish. Also, what a fun & easy way to find new fishing spots & to share with others!! Keep up the good work, Fishidy!

Map loading is slow. And it takes way to long to mark a spot on the map. Strike, catch fish etc. I would just like to hit one button and boom marked done. I can go back and load the other info later. When Im trolling I have way too many other things going on. Boat position, other rods, weather, etc. One button on a follow map would be amazing. And a strike button. Both just record location and time.

Took a gamble on a month membership and definitely not worth $10. The free navionics site has more depth contours in saltwater and the "hot spots" are very generic with tips that a 4 year old could figure out.

Very little free info and completely non-intuitive interface. Im certain most (if not all) of the info they want you to pay for can be found for free all over the Internet.
